12/29/05 - Magnus begins the first phase in a new state of the art 45,000 square foot facility by installing our new plating lines and paint booth. In an effort to become more of a lean manufacturing supplier the consolidation of our finishing processes has begun. In our designated finishing building you will find our plating lines with new polyethylene tanks providing quality certified plating per MIL-C-5541E Class 1A & 3 in a linear layout to cut down plating cycle times. Continuous improvement is the name of the game and Magnus has done it with a new state of the art Col-Met SDD-1000GH downdraft paint booth. The paint booth allows decreased cycle times from previous set up along with a better climate controls to improve quality finishes.
