Painting is performed in an enclosed, state-of-the-art downdraft paint booth to stringent commercial and Mil-spec requirements. Magnus can also provide molten-metal spray for severe corrosion and electrostatic protection, and powder coatings and electrostatic painting to provide a durable finish and minimize the environmental impact. Coatings are inspected with a gloss meter to verify gloss, an Eddy-current device to inspect the coating thickness, and a colorimeter for precise color matching against federal and commercial standards or against another part to ensure consistent aesthetics from part-to-part, job-to-job, year-after-year. |
